A 19th century French porcelain casket of oval form with hand painted repeating character and landscape detail, to the cover a romantic scene with gilded brass mounts, 13 cm max
It is in good condition. There are no chips or cracks. The fastening is secure. Interior original and good. Hinge is sound, feet are sound also the gilding is worn but commensurate to its age.
