Air Efficiency Award GVIR 1st type named to: 865506 Cpl J Hockey AAF (Auxiliary Air Force). An early award of the AE to the AAF, which became the RAFVR in 1942. Extremely Fine (EF) condition and accompanied by a thumbnail photograph of the recipient, his WW2 fibre identity discs (the red disc was intended to be removed from the body of a fatal casualty and the green disc to be left on the body) and the original full-length ribbon.
