FOUR NINETEENTH CENTURY RELIEF MOULDED POTTERY JUGS, comprising: A LIDDED EXAMPLE IN PINK AND WHITE, ATTRIBUTED TO SAMUEL BREVINGTON & SON, and moulded with Agamemnon holding his daughter, ANOTHER LIDDED EXAMPLE IN LILAC AND WHITE, ATTRIBUTED TO ALCOCK & BOOTE, moulded with fruiting vines, ANOTHER, IN WHITE AND GILT BY JAMES EDWARDS & SON, moulded with rope lined panels containing stiff leaves, AND THE LAST, A BUFF GLAZED ‘IMPERIAL STONE’ EXAMPLE BY ROYAL CLARENCE, sprigged in white with flowers, 7 ½” (19cm) high and smaller, (4)
C/R- the pink and white jug with loose lid and several very small/ minor firing cracks, the lilac and white jug with small chip to the footrim and minor staining, the white ad gilt jug with rubbing and small firing cracks to the handle, the last jug with a very small firing crack to the tip of the spout
