A George III mahogany painted dial longcase moonphase clock The dial signed Matthew Woller, Birmingham Early 19th century, the hood with swan neck pediment and turned columns, the case with arched cross-banded door flanked by quarter columns, above a cross-banded base box, the 14 1/8in arched dial with Roman chapter, subsidiary seconds below 12, the spandrels painted with rustic maidens in landscapes, the arch with a moonphase incorporating marine scape and landscape scenes, the eight day movement with four knopped pillars, striking on a bell. With pendulum, two weights and a winder. 59cm wide x 25.5cm deep x 230cm high
