A Victorian military issue silver cased fusee lever pocket watch by Pennington London. The 48mm white enamel dial with broad arrow mark and inscribed 1512 PENNINGTON LONDON, with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the movement with engraved broad arrow mark and further signed and inscribed, the engine turned case hallmarked London 1861, 137g; together with a silver curb link Albert watch chain hallmarked Birmingham 1862, 52.5g.

Winds and runs. Missing glass. The dial has several fine hairline cracks. The military arrow is worn. Hour hand missing. The engine turning on the case is slightly worn in the highest raised areas. Please see image of movement now online. Image of hallmarks online.
