1895 India Medal Relief of Chitral 1895 clasp to 3111 Pte W. Parkinson 1st Bn E. Lanc Regt edge bruise above surname, otherwise about very fine. With 7 copied pages of service record and rolls, William Parkinson was born in Preston, enlisted 6/1/91, to AR 6/1/98, recalled 18/12/99, served South Africa 13/1/00 to 8/8/02, discharged 5/1/03, re-enlisted 19/2/15 aged 41, discharged from 2nd Garrison Bn Liverpool Regt 12/1/16 no longer physically fit for war service, does not appear to have served overseas in WW1, also issued QSA and KSA.
