Late 19th Century Staffordshire porcelain jardiniere/cache pot of deep bowl shaped form on short pedestal with rope-knot handles. The body in robin egg blue, decorated with birds in naturalistic setting, with gilt highlighting and white glaze to interior. Printed registration kite mark to the base (indicating design date of 30th September 1869) and hand painted marks 'Flycatcher' and 'Bearded Tit'.
