Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1876, type A5, young head left with two plain fillets in hair, omitting W.W. on truncation, date below, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath, emblems below, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF (S.3889; ESC.699; Bull. 2748). Toned, few fi eld die breaks (the usual ones below Queens portrait as seen frequently on this year and type, cf. Spink Auction 5.7.2022 – lot 2603). Uncirculated.
