Railway. Paper Railwayana. A folder with approx. 200 individual British Railways invoices, receipts and consignment notes. The majority are from the Sheffield (Wicker Goods) and South Yorkshire region, so lots of steel, scrap and coal invoices! The collection dates from the early 1960's and includes shipping invoices from The Manchester Ship Canal, Burns & Laird Lines, Clyde Shipping etc. There is a nice bundle of invoices "My Last Afternoon", presumably kept by the railway clerk as a memento. A really interesting collection, in good condition, sample illustrated.
