Alwyn R Coates, Paris Match 1991, photographers portfolio commissioned series of images, Volvic water campaign and Athena poster postcard, Alwyn was commissioned to photograph a series of couple images around Paris to be made into posters
the posters were advertised on Volvic water bottles, back in the 1990’s if you collected 25 labels
you would receive one black and white poster, the campaign was so successful they had to reprint posters to supply the demand from customers, this is one image from the series of shots taken during this week shoot it was also made into a high quality
lithographic poster by Portfolio Gallery Notting Hill London, Camera Mamiya 645 pro, Kodak TXP 6049 black and white, processed in Paris, classic vintage hand printed black and white silver gelatine print printed by Robin Bell master printer, limited prints may be made in future but at present this image only exists in a portfolio prints
