RARE USAGE OF THE TYPE 6 "Internment Camp, Borneo" IMPRINT CARD EX KUCHING CAMP No.6 TO G.B.; 18 May 1945 late usage of the special red Internee's card from Sarawak Government Officer's wife "D[ott] Anderson" to Devon with Japanese red printed censor mark, and only the words "Internment Camp, Borneo." printed on the reverse. (This card was probably captured by the Allies in transit and so delivered after the end of the war, hence the lack of British censorship). Only three examples of this Type 6 card are recorded [and illustrated] by Tett, which makes only 5 known including this and the preceding lot. Very rare.Cross Reference: MILITARY - P.O.W. MAIL
