Two Japanese framed and glazed woodblock on silk prints, oban triptyque. One depicting a couple in kimono walking under an umbrella in snow, artist signature 'Painted by Suzuki Harunobu' (1724-1770), a well-known Ukiyo-e artist at Edo period (1603-1868), 21cm x 27.5cm (the picture only); the other, dated 1897, depicting the story of Minamoto no Yosghitsune, the commander and a Samurai of the Minamoto clan of Japan in the late Heian and early Kamakura periods (794-1333) artist signature 'Toyohara Chikanobu' (1838-1912), an influential Ukiyo-e artist between Edo and Meiji periods, 34cm x 23cm (picture).
