A Georgian lacquered Longcase Clock, C.1720, by Daniel Delander having running duration of one month, the brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsiduary seconds dial and date aperture, the hood having caddy top, pierced brass gilt frieze, the chinoiserie door flanked by three quarter columns and decorated figures in a landscape, 7ft 9in H
There is flaking to the gilding of the finials which may be replacement. There are old woodworm holes in the right side three-quarter round pilaster on the hood. There is evidence that the gilding has been touched up in various places on the clock. There have been alterations to the door hinges. There are a few places of rubbing to the gilding on the edges.
