An 1844 Model Penny. Good Very Fine. Obverse - The inner disc shows the young bust of Victoria, facing left with the legend around "Victoria Reg:" meaning "Queen Victoria". This set within a copper outer ring which reads "One Penny" at the top and "Model" at the bottom. Obverse nose to "O". Reverse - The inner disc shows the block number "1". This set within a copper outer ring which reads "One Penny" at the top and "Model" at the bottom. Reverse 34 bar within the "1" variety.
