2. David Scott Adams very fine. A unique name on CWGC, he was killed in action as 3022 L/Sgt 1/7th Bn London Regt on 20th October 1915 and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. With copied De Ruvigny's Roll, "An engine driver with Highland Railway Coy, drafted to France March 1915, present at actions at Festubert and Loo and was killed by a shell bursting in the trenches near Vermelles. he has been recommended for a commission and also for the DCM."
