ABYSSINIA FIELD FORCE "F.F." DIAMOND CANCELS ON OFF-COVER G.B. 1d REDS OR INDIA VALUES INC. "Service" O.P.: 1868 lot all with Abyssinia Field Force fine to very fine "F.F." Diamond cancels (not guaranteed by us; offered 'as is') inc. 3 GB 1d Reds - the 1d 'Stars' seems genuine, but the other two are forgeries (plates 122 & 179; not put to press until 1869 or 1875 respectively) - and a wide range of India values incl. two pieces (both appear to be posthumous forgeries) each with 2as + 2x1a, "Service" overprints (7; none guaranteed by us as having genuine "F.F." cancels), and a range of regular India off-cover stamps from ½a (which appears to have a genuine cancel) to 8as (7).
