A 19th Century French Porcelain plate with pate-sur-pate opaque white decoration in the classical style with central profile bust of bearded man, and winged dragons, masks and cartocuhe to the flange, all to a black ground, printed mark of Gibus & Cie over letter P. (Pierre-Justin Gibus (1821-1897), and dated 1867, with inscribed paper label for Paris Exhibition of the same year, 23.5cm diameter.
