John Everett Millais (1829-1896) British. A Young Boy on a Swing, Woodcut, Unframed, Overall 11.5" x 9" (29.2 x 22.8cm) and sixty others from the same set (61) (one missing) together with an Etching by Kate Cameron inscribed 'AK' (Kay). Notes: A Collection of sixty two proofs of woodcuts from drawings by Millais, being some of the finest specimens produced during the famous period of book illustrations known as the Sixties, 1858-62'. In a red Morocco portfolio with ties, from Lord Carlingford's library with his bookplate. Inserted is a note from Lady Millais presenting the collection to Frances Countess of Waldegrave, dated 18 May, 1874 from 7 Cromwell Place. Provenance: A Kay, Collector in 21/2/21
