A late 19th Century Aesthetic pewter lidded jug, the body decorated with relief moulded prunus blossom against a white ground with bamboo stripes in pale blue, unmarked other than faint diamond registration mark, height 24cm.
The pewter cover is stamped Thompson ***** Patent Sheffield (it is partically stamped). There is some kiln pick-up and speckling. Little dirty.
