PAIR OF MINTON AESTHETIC MOVEMENT JARDINIERES - MOYR SMITH. A pair of pottery jardinieres of square shape, with transfer printed depictions of characters from The Waverley Novels (Kenilworth, Rob Roy, Heart of Mid Lothian etc). Supported on square feet, some damages. Impressed marks, 'Minton, date code for 1883. 20cms high, 15.5cms square. *CR One, one piece from the top missing, the other three all repaired, couple of cracks to the body, couple of cracks underneath, crazing and discolouration inside.
The other, heavily crazed inside and some discolouration, possible small hairlines to the rim in several places, crack to the base.
