NGC Top Pop 1996 Shanghai Mint Official Medals featuring the Worlds Famous Coins, with these representing the 1839 Una and the Lion £5 and struck in Gilt Copper. Struck under license by the Royal Mint and whilst unsuccessful as a series it was one of the precursors to the Great Engravers series. Graded here by NGC in MS68PL (Obverse) and MS69PL (Reverse). Both representing the finest examples available in proof-like designation. An impressive pair.
