An Antique Georgian five stone ruby half hoop ring, circa 1820, set with 5 graduated oval mixed-cut rubies within openwork beaded bridge and foliate chased shank, with closed-back settings, unmarked mount tests as 18ct gold, setting height 7.8mm, size O, 2g
All stones present, rubies are generally fairly well matched and all have obvious internal inclusions, some of which are surface reaching, a few claw tips are missing, several beads on 1 shoulder are missing, back of shank has a join section, unmarked but tests as 18ct gold
