AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY CHINESE EXPORT ARMORIAL FOUR SIDED BOWL, with green and gilt bands with two sides and centre decorated with green and gilt flowers, two sides have an armorial of a bird and the motto `Vraye Foy`, (old French for 'True faith'), this has been the family motto of the Boswells of Auchinleck for centuries, the hooded hawk is the Boswell family crest, diameter 26cm (1) (Condition Report: some wear to gilt and lettering)
