An early 20th Century German ' Armand Marseille ' bisque headed doll with leg walking mechanism. The doll with blue flirty eyes, finely painted brows and lashes and open mouth with teeth present. Marked to the back of the head Armand Marseille Germany 390 A.7.M. The composition body with wooden arms and walking mechanism operated by turning of the head. Dressed in a period war time gown, likely parachute dress. Measures approx. 60cm.
