A late 19th century Crown Derby ceramic oval wall plaque, painted by George Landgraf, depicts a beautiful young woman in portrait, wearing a feather plumed hat, gilded background, signed Landgraf, brown factory mark to the reverse, 45.5cm x 38cm (Landgraf worked at the Doulton Osmaston Road factory between 1880 to 1885, the 'Magazine of Art' in 1884 stated 'the plaques are larger than those attempted at the Old Works, those from the pencil of Mr Landgraf being paintings of exceptional delicacy of drawing & colouring')

Condition - No chips, cracks, or restoration to the ceramic body of the piece, little gilt ware to the edge, a few paint blemishes, one in her hair near earring, one in pink feather, the darker one, a few dimples being manufacturing blemishes.
