An early 20th century dyed ostrich feather fan and fitted box, the fan shaded from a ruby red up to a tomato red, with the addition of a fluffy upper guard feather, the monture of tortoiseshell, with loop, the box bears the original delivery label to an address in Chelsea, London, overall height approx. 45 cm, span when open approx. 72cm (1 + box)
In good, clean condition. The wood box, covered in pale blue paper, has wear to the paper and some staining.
