A Flintlock box-lock pistol by Grice of London, circa 1780, proof marks to underside of the barrel, the cover plates with engraved decoration and signed Grice London, the rounded walnut butt inlaid with silver wire scrollwork and fitted with a grotesque mask butt-cap, the barrell measuring 8 inches.
