The canvas has been lined. There is a dirty surface varnish which has caused some discolouration. Light craquelure however the paint surface appears stable. Some superficial surface scratching. Rubbing and abrasions to the framing edges. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouching throughout, some light overpaint can be seen in a raking light without the use of a torch.
