AN EDWARDIAN SILVER CASED BOUDOIR OR CARRIAGE TIMEPIECE, the top with hinged carrying handle cast and pierced with scrolls, the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals, the case repousse decorated with landscape scenes and figures in 18th Century costume, on four scrolled feet, gilt interior, back of movement stamped 26220, with integral key, height with handle up 23.5cm, makers William Comyns & Sons, London 1903 (condition: area of damage to top right hand corner with a small split, detail of decoration slightly worn due to polishing, the underside has one replacement washer, small hole in raised area on bottom right hand corner of back door, movement heard ticking at time of report, mechanism winds, circular frame to dial is sitting slightly proud of the case)
