(Seccao Postal de Campanha) MARKS: Rare usage of S.P.C.18 & S.P.C.19 Field Post Office marks (used during late 1918 following the re-grouping of the 4th, 5th & 6th Brigades of the 2nd Division after the disastrous Battle of La Lys which resulted in an estimated 400 C.E.P. killed & 6,500 taken prisoner). 28 Aug. 1918 "O.A.S." env. to Sussex with superb S.P.C.19 mark & red unit Censor No.111 mark & 7 Sep. 1918 PPC to Portugal with S.P.C.18 mark, blue unit Censor No.120 mark & circular Lisbon No.29 censor mark. Also 21 Jul 1918 env. with superb S.P.C. 18 mark & unit censor no.31 mark. Scarce trio.
