Provenance: the hotei with a fan mentioned, Sotheby's, 20 June 2002, lot 548., the hotei in a bag, Christie's, 28 October 2004, lot 37, the group collectively were purchased from Zeeuws, 8/10/2020, lot 1206, 420 euros. Now the property of a deceased Estate from West Dorset.
