Holbein, Hans engraved by Chretien de Mechel, le Triomphe de la Mort; Clayton & Co, Basle 1780, tp has small tear not affecting the text, top right hand corner missing, library blindstamp in right hand corner and verso, contemporary marbled boards, half leather, binding worn but still solid, text uniformly lightly browned, slight foxing to the plates, mainly in the margins., the tissue guards have been removed. Also faint library blindstamps bottom right hand corners of four plates, not affecting the engravings 27cm x 28cm
