Johan Rohde (attributed) for WMF, a Jugendstil silver plated three piece tea set, circa 1912, lobed baluster form, with everted denticulated and beaded rims, including teapot, jug and bowl, tapered reeded S form handles, the ogee domed lid with gadrooned band and finial, gilt interiors, stamped WMF marks, 24.5cm long (3) Note: Internationally celebrated Danish artist and designer Johan Gudmann Rohde supplied designs to a number of silversmiths, most likely including German manufacturer WMF, prior to his exclusive contract with Georg Jensen in 1914, for whom he designed the famous Cosmos service and other similar wares, featuring many of the elements seen in this set.
