Pair of Chinese famille rose moon flasks, probably late Qing/Republic period, the central panel with a pair of brown glazed dragons within foliage, floral and lotus border on a yellow ground, ruyi decoration to the turquoise glaze above and below, grotesque salamander-style handles, 26cm high.  (2)

More Information

There are age-related losses and fading to the gilding on the top rim. There is minor age-related fading to the glaze and crazing to the underside. They are generally in good condition. Further small losses to the scrollwork and lines on enamel to the neck area of both vases.
