A mid-20th century Chinese blue ground Peking carpet decorated with Fen etc. (245cm x 155cm)
The carpet although it has been trodden on and used appears to be in very good original order with no big tears or repairs or no pile or low pile. We can see any oil spills on it. One of the corners is a little frayed as per images. This has come privately and in the auctioneer’s opinion is in good general overall condition commensurate with age and usage. There are some slightly darker parts to the cobalt central rectangular ground which may just be in the pile. Overall a good carpet in good general overall condition.
