WW1 / WW2 RAMC RAF Long Service Group of Seven Medals. Awarded to Flight Sergeant William H Saxby RAF who had previously served with the Royal Army Medical Corps during the Great War.
Comprising:
1914 Star, slip on bard 10224 PTE W H SAXBY RAMC, British War Medal, Victory Medal, PTE RAMC, India General Service Medal, clasp Waziristan 1919-21 333824 CPL W H SAXBY RAF, Defence Medal, War Medal, RAF Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVR) F/SGT RAF. The group is as originally worn. Flight Sergeant William H Saxby after service with the RAMC appears to have rejoined the RAF in August 1919 and is confirmed on the RAF IGS roll.
