1827 Pattern Victorian Royal Navy Officer's Sword


31 1/2 inch, single edged blade with wide fuller.  Foliage etched panels and Tudor crowned anchor.  The forte with faint maker's details.  Gilt brass guard with Vic crowned, fouled anchor cartouche.  Rear folding section with engraved named "A.H. Harris".  Gilt brass, lion mask pommel and backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its black leather scabbard with brass mounts.  Tip of blade pitted.  Rear scabbard partly split.
