VICTORIAN DOLLS HOUSE - BARDOLF MANOR
circa 1880, a pine 4 storey house with glazed windows to the front and sides. Accessed from the front, the interior with fitted stairs, doors and wallpaper, also with some accessories including rugs, pictures, and a small sampler dated 1863. On a later wooden stand supported on 4 legs. 196cms high (including chimney and stand, stand 47cms high), 84cms across, 50cms deep
*This house originally came from Bardolf Manor near Puddletown in Dorset, it was purchased from Oscar's Antiques in 1978. This lot also includes some correspondence with the original family who owned this, and various other ephemera including a note found in the chimney. This dolls house was featured in the International Dolls House magazine in the Dec 1999/Jan 2000 issue, and comes with a copy of the magazine.
