A vintage Wasps Rugby cap, dated 1938-39. Dark brown and yellow velvet with a gilt cord embroidered Wasps emblem, 1938-39 date, tassel and trim and a silk lined interior. Size 6 7/8. Provenance: Owned by the rugby player Bill (William) Barnes who became a referee appraiser after his playing career during the 1950’s/60s. Past to the current vendor by descent. Condition report: Good condition. Light wear with age.
