Property of a Gentleman. The following three vehicles were the property of a gentleman who owned and ran a garage in Uffculme from the 1960s onwards. A 1962 Rover P4 110, registration 166 MOD: 2625cc petrol, chassis number '76500818' , dark green with green leather interior, V5C and relevant paperwork. * Notes The Rover P4 series was a range of mid-size luxury saloons designed by Gordon Bashford and built from 1949 to 1964 that became part of British culture, known as the 'Auntie Rovers' In 1962 the 110 was introduced along with the 95 as the last in the series with the larger 2,6 litre engine. In 1963 Motor magazine tested a 110 and recorded a top speed of 100mph, 0-60 in 15.9 seconds and the standing quarter mile in 20.6seconds.
