POST-WAR GROUP OF MAIL - 12 Mar. 1946 env. (faults) to USA franked $30 with SHANGHAI cds cancels & KELLERTON receiver alongside for 18 Apr. with letter enclosed datelined both Nov. 1945 & Mar. 1946 (possibly sender had no money for postage till the later date?). Plus Chinese PC featuring newspaper clippings ' JAPAN SURRENDERS' etc & a US propaganda leaflet giving instructions 'in case there is a capitulation of the Japanese forces' noted as being dropped over Pootung camp on 19 Aug. 1945 at which time the war was already over. Also June 1945 env. to Lunghwa camp with "RETURNED IN UNDELIVERABLE MAILS/FROM TERRITORY FORMERLY OCCUPIED/BY JAPANESE FORCES" & another env. from Weihsien camp with one adhesive missing.
