A GEORGE V RECTANGULAR VESTA BOX & MATCHING STAND. with engine-turned decoration, a gilt interior and the stand on bun feet, by John Henry Hill, London 1919,together with a late Victorian chamberstick, with a detachable conical snuffer, a loop handle, a matchbox holder below and raised on fluted bun feet, by Samuel Jacob, London 1897; the latter 3.5" (9cm) long; 7.2ozt (2). *CR Both pieces with wear, the chamberstick more so with a pin dent to one of the corners, minor bruising and some bending throughout
