Also entitled to Civil Defence Medal (this missing). Plus named St John and Life Saving Medals. MBE L/G 31/12/2003 'Chairman, Gwent Police Pensioners Association, For Services to the Police'. Lot includes much original paperwork, his Helmet, Truncheon, photos, etc. He is stated to have been a close protection officer for Princess Margaret and Snowden while in Wales (supported with photo) and was drafted in to identify the children bodies after the Aberfan disaster.
