Jones 1901 CS Family Queen Alexandra Sewing Machine with original wooden case. In working condition with original wooden handled case. Hand-cranked CS Family "Queen Alexandra" sylinder shuttle model sewing machine manufactured by Jones Sewing machine company with ornate decals.The British makers of Jones sewing machines were the only makers to proudly carry the name of Queen Alexandra, who came to the throne with King Edward VII in 1901, and was also a keen sewer. The Jones Sewing Machine Company was established in Oldham in 1859 later acquited in 1968 by Brother Industries.
