Japanese Samurai Warriors Set of Dō-maru style Armour to include Dō-maru style kabuto helmet with a medieval revival style with Fukigaeshi, wing-like or ear-like projections. Fitted with Wakidate horns and a Golden Dragon. Menpo facial armour or Me no shita ho with brown lacquer finish with teeth picked out in gold and with shikoro leather neck guards. Comes together with a bamboo display stand and with a black storage box, but missing the original lid. The Helmet Dragon also comes with a wooden storage box with 2008 auction label inside. Armour has a Bonhams auction label not dated. Together with some original clothing.
Overall good condition. The wooden Dragon to the helmet has some old repairs. Clothing has some heavy wear and some holes or damage.
