A Maxwell Hemmens one inch scale coal fired Showman's Engine. A single cylinder slide valve engine with regulator, reverser, safety valves, blower, etc. A copper boiler with mechanical water feed, pressure gauge, water sight glass, etc. The engine is also fitted with working brakes, smokebox mounted generator, canopy and other detailing. Overall length 56cm, height 30cm
Generally in very good condition. Minor damage and perishing to some rubber and leather parts. The engine requires some cleaning and servicing, the motion turns slightly stiffly. The engine is sold untested and without current boiler history.
