DU NORD"; 25 Oct. 1813 much-travelled EL from Briancon to Frankfurt redirected to Cologne & then to Paris with partly fine black "DEB./Bau. SEDENTAIRE/GRANDE-ARMEE" on reverse; 29 Mar. 1814 official military EL (printed "Armee von Nord-Deutschland" heading inside; fine red wax seal) from "Luttich" (German name for Liege) to France; and 21 July 1815 EL from Paris (printed "Ministere de la Guerre" heading inside) to Nancy but redirected twice with a fair red "DEB.
