A 1991 Triton café racer, registration number Q120 BAU, aluminium/blue. Tritons are a marriage of Norton frames and Triumph engines and create some of the best handling and sporting machines. This example comes direct from a private collection and has been constructed to a high standard. It utilises a 1971 Triumph Bonneville T120R 650cc engine rebuilt to race specification incorporating new pistons, big ends, exhaust valves, etc. The spark is supplied by Boyer ignition with a rebuilt alternator. The 1961 Norton slimline frame has recently been powdercoated in blue and has been fitted with a new alloy top yolk, Borroni alloy rims with new tyres and refurbished Roadholder forks. Both the fuel and oil tanks are constructed from aluminium and the front brake is a trick four leading shoe example. This beautifully presented café racer will certainly turn heads when out on the road. V5C, no MOT See illustrations
