A Chinese soapstone figure of Liu Hai, probably Kangxi period,
with remnants of polychrome decoration, the figure holding three cash coins with his foot resting upon a rocky outcrop, on a rocky shaped base, creamy green coloured stone with natural veining,
16.5cm high

More Information

Natural veining and inclusions to the stone, the polychrome decoration is worn and there is some remnants of gilding also, basically in good condition with no restoration cracks or chips detected.
