A Chinese Ming Dynasty style 'Chicken cup', the gently sloping sides decorated with Doucai glazes and decorated with a series of chickens and chicks before rockwork, with six-character Chenghua mark to base, but late Qing Dynasty, A/F.
Two large chips to the rim, with associated hairline cracks, extending approx. 3-4cm in length.
Scuffing and wear to the underside of the footrim.
